WHAT IS COVERED

Engine:  All internally lubricated parts contained within the Engine Block, Cylinder Block, Cylinder Head Assemblies, Harmonic Balancer, Valve Covers, Oil Pain, Oil Pump, Water Pump, Fuel Deliver Pump, Timing Case, Chain, Gears, Belt & Sprockets, Intake and Exhaust Manifold.

Transmission:  All internally lubricated parts.  Torque Converter, Transmission Case, Fly Wheel, Bell Housing, Flex Plate, Transmission Mounts and Oil Pan.

Drive Axle:  Front and/or Rear.  All internally lubricated parts contained within the Drive Axle Housing, Drive Line, Constant Velocity or Universal Joints. 

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This Warranty does not cover or apply to the following conditions:  

  • Any cost incurred for disassembly or diagnosis is at your expense if the inspection determines that the mechanical breakdown was not caused by the failure of a part covered by this Warranty, or was caused by wear and usage. 
  • Any breakdown caused by negligence, misuse or failure to perform required maintenance services. 
  • Any mechanical failure caused by the lack of proper and necessary amounts of coolants or lubricants.
  • Any incidental damage caused by overheating.  If your vehicle overheats, STOP!  DO NOT CONTINUE TO DRIVE.
  • Any repairs required as the result of alterations you have made to the vehicle.
  • Any loss or expenses for tune-ups, alignments, towing, storage, repairs or replacements of any parts not covered in your Limited Warranty.
  • Any damages caused by collision, fire, malicious mischief or vandalism or from any other cause whatsoever except as provided in this Warranty.
  • This Warranty does not cover any breakdown of a part covered by the Factory Warranty. 
  • Normal wear or deterioration of any part.
  • Cleaning and polishing.
  • The adding of any fluids, unless they are needed as part of a warranty repair.
  • Broken, chipped or scratched window glass unless it is due to a defect in the material or workmanship. 
  • Any item concerning your car's general appearance (such as paint, upholstery, dashboards, etc.).
  • Any loss or expense that is the direct result of a mechanical or structural defect for which the manufacture has publicly announced its responsibility by a recall or other announcement for the purpose of correcting such defect, or the repair of any component or part covered by the Federal Emissions Warranty. 
  • Any vehicle with an altered odometer, or any vehicle with an inoperable odometer that is left un-repaired, whether such repair is covered by this Warranty or not
  • Any vehicle used for pulling a trailer unless properly equipped beforehand for this purpose, as recommended by the manufacturer.  If inspection determines the needed repair is attributable to such equipment.
  • Any vehicle used for commercial, rental, emergency, agricultural or for hire purposes. 
  • Liability for damage to property or injury or death of any person.

TIME AND MILEAGE PERIOD

This Warranty begins on the date the car is first delivered to you, the purchaser, and continues for 3 months or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first.

This Warranty is not transferable.  If you should sell the vehicle during the Warranty period, the Warranty ends at the time of sales. 

WHAT WE WILL DO

We will repair or replace, at our option, any of the items contained herein if it fails to function during the Warranty period.  We will pay both the cost of the parts and the cost of labor. 

We will make these repairs as quickly as possible provided:
                A) Repairs are done in our shop
                B) Repairs are done during normal business hours.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

HOW TO GET SERVICE

To obtain Warranty repairs you must return the vehicle to us.  Our Service Department will accommodate you as quickly as possible.  If you wish, you may call for an appointment. 

EMERGENCY BREAKDOWN

To have Warranty repairs done somewhere else, you must:
1) Call our Service Department BEFORE repairs   are started.
                Service Business Hours:
                Monday thru Friday 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
                Saturday  8:00 am - 5:00 pm
                Sunday  CLOSED
2) Get authorization from us to repair the vehicle BEFORE work is started.
3) Pay for the repairs yourself

For reimbursement, you must submit the following within 10 business days of the repair:
1) All copies of repair bill
2) All failed parts
3) Your receipt for payment

YOU'RE RIGHTS UNDER STATE LAW

This Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights under California State Law.  Some states do not allow the exclusions or limitation of incidental consequential damages, so such a limitation may not apply to you.  The implied Warranty or merchantability (an unwritten Warranty that product is fit for ordinary use) is limited to 90 days from your date of purchase.  Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied Warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. 

ARBITRATION

If we and you do not agree on the amount of damages, either party may make written demand for arbitration.  In this event, each party will select an arbitrator.  The two arbitrators will select a third.  If they cannot agree within thirty (30) days, either may request that selection be made by a judge of a court having jurisdiction.  Each party will pay the expenses they incur, and bear the expenses of the third arbitrator equally.  A decision agreed to by two of the arbitrators will be binding.
